Based on their evaluation of a portfolio of Colleen's work her art teachers
decided that she should skip a grade in her art education. She will get to more
advanced work sooner. I'm sure she is ready for it. To see a bit of Colleen's

She has also a gift for writing!
For a school Holocaust project assignment Colleen has written a poem entitled
"No Way Out". The poem evoked for me a sense of entrapment. It brought
back some memories of Holocaust scenes that are part of my memory. My
thoughts are described in "The Most Terrible Century"
