Sylvia becomes
Mrs. Troxell
Richard & Sylvia Take Their Vows
The date: August 27, 1988. It was a very hot day. Yet this couple looks, serious and intent, but otherwise quite cool and calm. It is as though they knew they were settling in for a long run; as though they had jointly proclaimed: "jitters need not apply here!"
In the background is Eric Fischer, Best Man. Eric is an attorney in greater Philadelphia and an old friend of Richard's.

Uncle Jack with some Congratulatory Words
Jack & Mary Lou Stickley had provided a home away from home for Sylvia
while she was at La Salle becoming a Special Education teacher.
ON THE RIGHT
Photographers seem to focus on the bride. So for balance Richard proudly reveals himself as a true Scot! Jan Troxell, his mother, was a McHattan and the tartan is authentic. Richard assures us that his sword was not drawn in anger.
